Several individuals were injured while inhabitants in the city's east were experienced blackouts and encountered interruptions to water systems, according to local authorities.

Simultaneously, a minor was lost their life in a separate assault in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Officials stated that 450 drones and several dozen projectiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were laboring to restore power.

A wave of strikes damaged power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Authorities told the media that Moscow was purposely seeking to damage the national power system, with strikes already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and officials were anticipating further attacks.
